switch to VT1 by pressing Ctrl-Alt-F1. Login at the prompt there and then run the following commands: sudo echo 1 /sys/power/pm_trace setfont /usr/share/consolefonts/Uni1-VGA8.psf.gz sudo pm-suspend And see if you can collect more dmesg info or photo of the screen if it spits out more
