Hi Jeremy,
This one is not really reproducible for me. I'm now running 9.10 and
this Xorg crash happened only once. I think we can close this bug. I
will reopen it if I get the same crash and it is somehow reproducible.

This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in
it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try

When you say computer froze. Were you able to move the mouse? Was the
CAPS LOCK LED status light blinking? Did you see any normal screen
updates at all. for example did the clock tick etc? Did you see any
video memory corruption / garbage on screen? Was it possible to ssh into
the computer?
Has
Mouse was not moving.
Caps Lock LED was not blinking.
No screen updates I think. I'm not sure about the clock but I'm sure my System
monitor censors for the CPU stopped moving.
I saw no video memory corruption.
I don't know about ssh, but I couldn't start a non graphical terminal with
