Some precisions:
I use Ubuntu Karmic with backports activated.
PulseAudio 1.0.9.19
I had some jerky audio output with Spotify, used under Wine (Rhythmbox
opened or not). So I checked /var/log/message and notice that Too big
adjustment 32 error from my sound card.

The behavior observed is the following:
0s. First, everything is ok.
1s. Sound output become jerky
between 15s to 20s. software crashes (not able to read any track and so sound
anymore).

Well that kernel seems to have solved the 0.9.14 latency recalculation
issue, at least with the stock Jaunty64 bit everything but..there is
almost always a but
The volume of the hardware drops about 90% when I switch a stream to the
simultaneous output. The volume bars on the simultaneous
