Fisrt, I have to say I'm not friendly with English and it is the first time I'm
reporting here.
The bug occured during today Linux Header update (Ubuntu 8.10, kernel
2.6.27-17-generic).
Since I added an option in the GRUB (to avoid splash and associated PC speaker
unexpected continuous alarm -
