They certainly look complete, and I've used them to build kernels in the past. @Andy - since /proc/config.gz works on other platforms, which don't ship configs in /boot, might it be worth enabling /proc/config.gz anyway for the sake of portability? If not, how about a compromise - add it as a

@mdz -- well the thought is that it is redundant as we do have the files in /boot anyhow, the incomplete stuff seems to be sorted by a quick scan of my disk. The reporter seems happy in that case to work with those files. There is a cost of having them built in, as they are loaded into memory
