Run alsamixer and please check master volume, pcm and front are all
loaded at 100% (I think is a litle bit low), then change your settings
in System->Sound preferences and play with your soundcard systems
(Alsa/Oss).

Dear Kamus,
I could not locate IEC958 channel in alsamixer to increase the volume.
I could mute the IEC958, please see the attchment. But there are no channels
to adjust volume as we do for master etc.
Coming to system>Preferences>sound to change from Autodetect to Alsa/Oss
output.
I donot find
Could you check in alsamixer that IEC958 channels are not muted and
please increase your volume (also play with system->Preferences->Sound
change Autodetect to Alsa/Oss output and then clic on test, if you hear
a noise sound, you are done.
