My notebook have one integrated builtin USB wlan controller, lsusb says
following information, I not using external wlan controller:
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 0bda:8198 Realtek Semiconductor Corp.
When my wlan switch is turned off, ifconfig shows following output:
eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWad
To be sure we understand the issue properly, do you mean that you are
using both the integrated wireless controller from the notebook, as well
as an external USB wireless adapter?
Could you please provide us with the output of 'iwconfig' in the setup
you are trying to use, with the killswitch turn
