hello again, I tried to use the network method (8.04-8.10-9.04-9.10) but
it got messy when i jumped from 8.10 to 9.04, so i formated my HD and i
installed 9.10 stable version and it seems to work as... acceptable as
8.10. I guess that there is not a good way to jump from 8.04 to 9.10

I uninstalled sl-modem-daemon, but it didn't solve my problem. I installed
ubuntu 8.04 and it seems to work better than 9.04 or 9.10 Beta and i
wonder... is there any way to take my actual hardware configuration from
8.04 to 9.10? Thanks =)

linux-backports-modules-alsa-karmic-generic_2.6.31.14.27_i386.deb but it
tells me that depends of other package, i downloaded the other package and
that tells me that depends of other and it seems that it will be the same
with each package that i download. Is it possible
