The launcher is loaded and running on my Dell Mini 10v, but performance
is very, very slow and I just discovered thousands and thousands of
these segfault errors in /var/log/messages. UNR Karmic.

Final note: the real problem is that I was running that VNC session as
***the same user logged in at the console*** - netbook-launcher
segfaults if more than one instance of it is running ***as the same
user***.
I created a separate user account on the machine for the VNC session

Could somebody please try this with the Lucid Alpha 3 live CD? There is
a new fallback mechanism that should give a usable netbook-launcher for
people who don't have 3D acceleration.
