Definitely a me to. This broke all my Java apps after updating to Lucid. And all of my co-workers too - we're a Java dev shop. The workaround of using the partner repo worked, but it was a nuisance; why jump through any hoops at all? Installing the real Sun JVM worked so nicely before. Also,

As I see Ubuntu starting to use openjdk. That's fine and I appreciate this move, however sun-java6 is a must for my daily job. Unfortunately openjdk and the icedtea6-plugin is simply useless in Lucid for my SAN switches and HP Prloliant iLO ports. I've installed the latest sun version of java
