Happens on my laptop too:

PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 7 of bridge :00:1c.0
It stalls for a few seconds and then resumes

Allright, fair enough.. I've submitted it as a new bug, #73687 To my
mind it seems like a somewhat related issue, so i'm posting this follow-
up here in the hopes that someone saavy with #56376 might provide some
input on my situation.

I think that the case is different for you brandon, as far as I understand,
everything is working correctly with the bug submitter and all of those who
added comments(including me), however we're reporting it just in case.

I also do have the same issue with the same error message in dmesg. I
have an Acer Aspire 5572 with the 2.6.15-27-686 kernel
So far the only problem I have with this laptop is the sound where I
cannot control volume through gnome but through each application
(annoying but not a problem) and speake
Oh yeah, my laptop has an AMD Turion 64 (ML-37), I'm running with noapic
option (doesn't make a difference if it's passed or not). I saw using
dmesg that the error is complaining about these guys:
$lspci
[...]
:00:04.0 PCI Bridge: ATI Technologies Inc: Unknown device 5a36
:00:05.0 PCI Brid
I've got an HP nx6125 with the same errors as above. The errors occur
on Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Ubuntu Server. Let me know if you'd like any
information from me.
