Sorry to hear you are having problems getting Ubuntu One to work as expected. I
dont see anything in the logs submitted by apport. Could you please zip your
$HOME/.cache/ubuntuone/log/ folder and attach the zip here. You can zip the
folder by right-clicking on it and selecting compress.
Unfortunately clearing my cache didn't help. I have since upgraded to
the beta and updated this bug report with the latest problems with logs
as noted above.

Did the instructions mitch gave help? When running a newer version of
Ubuntu One then going back to an older version this can cause a conflict
in the metadata. The instructions mitch gave should delete the old
metadata. Then Ubuntu One should recreate the metadata in the correct
format for the vers
I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One isn't working properly for you. Can you try the
following and let me know the results?
1. Quit the Ubuntu One client. From the applet select Quit. Then open a
Terminal (Applications > Accessories > Terminal) and run the following to quit
the syncdaemon.
