I'm not sure yet. I haven't had the time to go through the whole
TroubleShooting guide but I have confirmed that the events are being
received. One useful fact that I managed to ascertain was that the whole
thing works fine with a proper USB keyboard (no adapter). I managed to

Hotkey handling involves multiple packages. Please take a look at [1]
and, if the problem happens even with a USB keyboard, follow the Step-
by-step Troubleshooting and comment back here your findings.

This is not specific to the keyboard that I'm using. I got another PS2
keyboard and used the same converter cable. The issue is there as well.
I'll try next with a USB keyboard directly.
