This should probably be closed, given the fate of Ubuntu One. The
parent/dupe bug is already marked as 'Fix Released'. All the related
bugs probably need to be checked/closed as well.

ubuntuone-syncdaemon crashed with ImportError in module()
I try this without success:
$ sudo apt-get remove ubuntuone-client-gnome
$ sudo apt-get purge ubuntuone-client-gnome
$ sudo apt-get install ubuntuone-client-gnome
No errors were throw running those commands, but the issue remains.

ubuntuone-syncdaemon crashed with ImportError in module()
Thats true, login prompts the first time but sync dont seem to work.
I try removing the machine from ubuntu one, but the app never prompted me back
to the add this machine on the browser.
I did:
$ u1sdtool -q; killall ubuntu-sso-login; u1sdtool -c
ubuntuone-syncdaemon stopped.
Remove ubuntu one
Running ubuntuone-preferences from terminal shows:
$ ubuntuone-preferences
ERROR:dbus.connection:Exception in handler for D-Bus signal:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/dbus/connection.py, line 214, in
maybe_handle_message
self._handler(*args, **kwargs)
I think this is related to an issue with pycentral vs pysupport or
something like it and the solution is to remove and reinstall the
packageand its dependencies as it is now installing properly.

Same thing happens to me as well. Crash straight after boot. Sometimes
get two or three crash reports.

I tried the command you sent me and the crash persisted after a reboot.
The issue seems to stem from the python statement import gobject which
chokes after trying to find a module named glib._glib

After installing the latest updates as of approx. GMT 5am, this problem
seems to have gone away. Not all of the ubuntu one services are working
correctly but the system presented me with a signon box after login,
which I haven't seen since I installed the Maverick alpha

This does happens frequently when I log in to Maverick but not every
time. This time I ran Update Manager then restarted the system and
logged in.
