The graphics card is a a P650 PCI express Dual Graphics card.
I am using the 64bit AMD install.
The same also true for 6.10 in 32bit and 64bit AMD versions

I believe that no-one has tried Feisty Herd5, for example? Anyway, could
you post your 'lspci -vv' and 'lspci -vn' output, so that I can check
whether the hardware is supported by another driver besides vesa (which
also has seen an update).

I can confirm this bug with my Matrox Parphelia P650 (dualhead) on my
Ubuntu Edgy Eft system. I can also confirm that I didn't had this
trouble with Ubuntu Dapper Drake. These are the steps I took, I'll
upload my screenshots afterwards :

I have Matrox Millenium P750 AGP graphics adapter - I can confirm this
bug. I can not install the latest official Ubuntu Edgy Eft because the
screen goes blank and stays blank (with some random pixels here and
there) even if I choose 'Safe graphics mode'. No graphics are displayed
after the first
