Well , AMD claims that the Temperature is indeed unreliable and SW should not use it, that's why k10temp disables the monitoring. See http://support.amd.com/us/Processor_TechDocs/41322_10h_Rev_Gd.pdf#74 the easy fix is to do: Icreate /etc/modprobe.d/k10temp.conf and just add # force k10temp
