So, it seems like this bug is assigned to the wrong package. It should be assigned to whatever package sets up those shortcut keys. They should change their default behavior, when a modifier key doesn't exist to just disable that shortcut altogether. But I have no idea which package that might be.

Fix: I have no idea how or why this happens, but after upgrade to 10.10, a keyboard shortcut is set to make 'D' minimize all windows. I'm using vnc4server + a windows VNC client with the same results. (I tried using a mac VNC client too... same thing) So I suspect it's definitely something wacky with the keyboard mapping. If I remember correctly, when I upgraded to 10.04 a similar issue happened... I had to add a line to my
