Installing aspell-nl seems to fix this. Not only that, but installing
another language (with System - Admin - Language-support) now adds a
dictionary as well. This has either been fixed _or_ there is difference
with the amount language-support with the desktop-installer and
language-setup.

It isn't specific to language-support-nl. It happens with _all_ the locales.
It is simply that the dictionaries used by Firefox are not managed by
the desktop (yet). Most likely because it is a new feature and those
responsible are unaware of it.
