Your logs dont indicate that it was running for '5 to 30 minutes'. Also your logs are pretty useless (other than showing the exception). Generally we prefer logs from 'debug -d' which dumps out much more information. As I said, we could probably clean up the log and give a user friendly message i

Are you sure it's expected behavior? As an end-user, it smells an awful lot like a crash. The behavior is that Docky is /already/ started, and I am able to use it for anywhere between 5 and 30 minutes. Then, something interrupts communication with DBus, I gather temporarily, and that's enough to
