This happened to me too. Need help rectifying my system. Do I just re- run the dist-upgrade script? Would it be useful to see my log also? -- Upgrade from Dapper to Edgy failed https://launchpad.net/bugs/68519 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com

I moved the contents of the directory to another temporary directory and rerun the upgrade script. A message came up, that said I should run sudo apt-get install -f and then rerun the upgrade script again. I did this. Half way through the upgrade, the x server was shut down and did not come up

apt.log tar does not work any more, so you get this as single files. ** Attachment added: apt.log from /var/log/dist-upgrade http://librarian.launchpad.net/4937690/apt.log -- Upgrade from Dapper to Edgy failed https://launchpad.net/bugs/68519 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list
