Thank you for responding. I decided to have an expert look at it. He
said the disk/partition was damaged and he reinstalled Windows. I then
installed Ubuntu again and didn't change the partition setting during
install. Everything went fine.

1) Can you boot with live cd, run sudo fdisk -l (without -marks) and
give output
2) Can you explain little bit more about partition you selected, did you
install first and then change
