Meanwhile I installed the latest updates to be up-to-date ;-) and it seems,
that I cant reproduce the failure anymore.
It looks like that some of the latest updates fixed this problem already.
And Banshee still plays the file from beginning to the end and
No problem, closed then.

Please could you install banshee-dbg and libc6-dbg packages and then run
in a terminal banshee --debug and attach all the output information in
a separated file (following your steps to reproduce this issue)? Thanks
