I can confirm this. My system (Thinkpad T61) froze while updating. After a reboot I finished the upgrade and I'm now having various issues: 1) System freezes during boot 2) X is not starting, have to stop/start gdm to make it work 3) System is freezing without apparent reason 4) X is crashing,
