Hi,
well the problem is that I could not reproduce this bug again. It only
happened once on my computer. I think it was more my fault because I had
done some updates and did not restart kde so most probable this was the
reason for that behavior.

Well after restarting KDE mouse gestures began to work. But normally a
restart shouldn't be required.
