Oh, and I think it would be nice to add an option to get a more direct
way of support if a purchase fails. At least the help should state whom
to contact if there are issues with purchased software.

Hi Arne, thanks for your report and I'm sorry that you are having this
problem downloading Steel Storm. This is actually a very large download
(about 650 MB) and so it can be susceptible to network glitches.
However, I would expect that if the download was interrupted you would
have seen an error
Hello Gary,
thank you very much for your quick response. I was able to get this
resolved by myself by installing the packages steelstorm-episode2 and
steelstorm-episode2-data by hand with apt-get install from the
commandline. After some glitches, this worked ( the first time one of
the packages
So, I tried that and now software-center is able to download and install
the steelstorm packages. I guess the issue can be closed now even if we
might never now why it failed initially :-/

Hi again Arne, thanks for posting back! The reinstall will actually work
quickly as you now have this package in your local apt cache. All signs
are that this was the result of a network problem that interrupted the
download. It was a good idea to use apt-get install directly to get the
package

I removed the package from the apt cache before I tried to reinstall and
verified that software-center actually starts the download.
I tried with software-center several times and switched to a wired
network to rule out networking problems just to be sure but it always
