I discovered that when I uninstalled totem-Mozilla plugin Firefox
stopped disappearing. I could reinstall totem-Mozilla and go to
a web page that had any Windows media files and Firefox would
disappear.
I uninstalled totem-mozilla again and installed Mplayer and the media plugins
and I have no

I have installed and uninstalled several multimedia software packages trying to
