I forgot to tell that i'm testing on a laptop Asus L8400L and the video chip is an Ati Radeon M6 LY (AGP 4x 16MB dedicated RAM), old but compiz seems to go quite good with it...i'm using Open Source Ati drivers obviously ** Attachment added: xorg.conf
