also affects apps available for download.
if i disable them the option is forgotten on log-out or reboot.
and as you can see from the pic, there is a lot of area not being used
when user toggles fullscreen dash to view more rows.

No I don't think its the same. That bug is refering to the size of the
dash. (windowed or fullscreen.) That's never bee an issue for me. I'm
referring to the state of menus and filters within the dash. They
