Hi, I've opened bug #987056 on 2012-04-23 and was recently invited to discuss it here. Exact hardware : Asus N55SF-S1437V. I just tested with kernel 3.2.0-26-generic and the workaround is no longer needed, suspend just works. Marked that bug as fix released and no longer affecting me. Regards.
