I am wondering if yours is the same problem as 994225. Could you switch
the machine type in one of these vms to
type arch='x86_64' machine='pc-1.0'hvm/type
and reset your video section to
video
model type='vga' vram='9216' heads='1'/
address type='pci' domain='0x'
