well, I think this is still a current bug (or maybe it is just a missing
feature and it is not supposed to work ?).
I also think this might be a duplicate of
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mozilla-thunderbird/+bug/105088
The point is that, AFAICT, neither Firefox, nor
Notice I am now using _autofs_ to work around this bug / missing
feature, especially for smb urls. But this really makes dektop / firefox
integration less than optimal with default install...

For example, type in URL
sftp://test:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
This works in Nautilus, but not in Firefox.
Tested with the latest Firefox. Loading... text stays while in titlebar,
with animation, after which nothing happens.
