Same here, as soon as i try to print with kpdf, there is a bug in edgy's
/usr/lib/kde3/libkpdfpart.so
I recompiled kdegraphics-3.5.5 (vanilla) and copied the new
libkpdfpart.so and now my kpdf can print without crashing. I'm

I have linux-headers-generic installed but ubuntu-desktop wants to
install linux-headers-386 everytime I upgrade ubuntu-desktop. It is
'recommends' but synaptics marks it automatically for install.
Could it be set to recommend -generic | -server | -386 ? Or to recommend

I have the same problem with my Palm Zire, but I can't fix the problem by
adjusting Timezones, since they are already the same.
If I switch the ECalendar conduit off, everything will work fine, but the
calendar is not synchronized :(

My fix is:
Download the gksu source code and all packages needed to build it.
Edit gksu.c and change:
#define FADE_DURATION 500.0
To:
#define FADE_DURATION 0.0
Compile and install.

I was using KDE 3.5.2 and 3.5.3 on Kubuntu 6.06 LTS (Linux 2.6.15-27-k7) and

I solved this bug in Baltix GNU/Linux 2.0 by patching pmount to allow
globs in /etc/pmount.allow file (2 lines patch) and improving
02_ignored_volumes.patch in hal package - volume.ignore key should be
set to true only when volume.is_mounted is true (one line fix, look

imageviewer got removed from Debian. preview.app supersedes it and is in
