Is this a known problem? Dapper 6.06/Gnome: when I insert a blank DVD+R,
Nautilus pops open a window for ~1 second recognizing a blank DVD+R
(which also appears on the desktop) then the window closes and the icon
for the DVD+R disappears at the same time. This repeats every
what does it mean it takes too long to build?

I guess this is a locale problem. When the system-tray icon appears and

For the record: Edgy's version caches the registered plugins and their
ranks in ~/.gstreamer-0.10/registry*.xml, thus the registration
functions are not even called if it's cached and the dynamic rank

not gnutls? gnutls has an openssl wrapper, so it should be a

would do it imho

Since upgrading to Edgy (from Dapper), I cannot use the DOM inspector.
The package is installed (as it was in Dapper) but the DOM inspector option
doesn't appear in the Tools menu, or in the Addons manager.

I have a similar problem with the latest update. It tries to reload the
module, but I have my own kernel, and fuse in my case _is not a module_.
Question: Should packages depend of a particular setup of the kernel,
like this? I really don't think so. And it _really shouldn't fail the
update
I can confirm Till's observations with a slight caveat.
Prior to stoping cupsd I get ownership cupsys.lp on error_log
and after I stop it still has ownership cupsys.lp.
If I start it it has ownership root.lp until the error_log gets rolled
at which point the new instance of error_log has

I still think that perhaps a single sentence Sounds played by the login
window can be found in the Administration menu's Login Window panel,
somewhere below the login sound button in the sound preferences, would
be useful.
