Under which conditions would you not have /usr ? If it's on NFS or
something? At any rate, putting /usr/bin in the path may not be *the*
correct fix but it'd solve this problem for most people. Laptops are
unlikely to have important parts of the filesystem mounted remotely.

cupsd can't access
cupsd does its own log rotating, not logrotate. So it implies
that cupsd does not set the permission properly when this
happens nor when it starts up from scratch.
Wrt the changes in /etc/init.d/cupsys we see that the chown
stuff is before cupsd starts up...clearly it should come after
starting

libbeagle is needed to compile and run. So it depends on libbeagle, as
libbeagle has the needed functions to determine if the beagle daemon is
running etc. I belive this patch automatically detects if beagle is
running and hides the search feature when no daemon is present.

to load. Upon modprobe ndiswrapper, the following happens:

Okay, after further examination, this is a problem even _without_
suspending, at least on my machine. On a clean boot, there are no ACPI
errors, but It still always says 100% all the time on battery power,
this was not a problem when I used Slackware. Attached is dmesg...any
ideas?

Just upgraded a nc6220 from dapper to edgy. Hibernate worked well in
dapper. In Edgy, resumption takes forever (like 5+ minutes after the
power button is pressed to resume.

Trying to install edgy on a mini-mac. Tried manual partitioning and
even tho I had a boot partition it wouldn't take it, stopped, and said I
needed one. Then I tried auto partitioning and got this bug.
Note: I have Mac X running and Ubuntu Dapper running on this machine.

it may make some users think things are not working.
