That's odd---I don't have that XAANoOffscreenPixmaps line in my
xorg.conf, even after I enabled desktop effects. The effects still work
(ie., wobbly windows), but the desktop is so glitchy that it's unusable.

I reinstalled from the Live CD after I posted this.
The first time I didn't partition any space for a swap partition. The
second time, I partitioned a gig of HDD space for it. Didn't crash that

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if this belongs on the wishlist. The
way I see it, the Feisty update *SHOULD* change how Firefox runs, if
only slighty. That would make it an upgrade/reinstall. I also don't see
any indication that there is a problem with Firefox running after the

Minor success. I can play the file now under totem, but when i seek to
the end, totem crashes. If i try to generate a valgrind.log it crashes
after showing the first frame (see attached log). The log looks very
similar to the previous one, so i think nothing has changed.
