When I install the gutenprint package from OpenPrinting, I get an

I've upgrade to Feisty and I'm having the same problem. It hangs on
Send Receive after it has been running for a while - i.e. it uses 100%

im sorry,i didnt sent the file,i didnt find where to attach it...and now
im sending it...im actually using 2 versions of ubuntu(in different
pcs),and in both it happened the same,i clik on it to open and it
wont..the 2 versions im using are ultimate ubuntu and the gamers
edition..well,i cant tell
With the latest kernel, I only experience this while the laptop's
plugged into AC. If I'm running on battery, the fan seems to behave like
it's supposed to.

Not really wonderful.
ACPI provides some tools to monitor and manage parts of the laptop, from
the power button, to the fans etc...

I have the same error on a liveCD trial on my laptop (ASUS W7J). I was
browsing my bluetooth section in HAL and it crashed the same way. I

I have /dev/radio0 which does work (readable) but GnomeRadio gets no
Audio track from it nor do other applications using Gnome I've tested so
far. The signal strength changes as I move it so I am certain the turner
is working and GnomeRadio sees the signal strength but it cannot get
