by the linkbeat indicator on my switch being OFF.

Mișu, we all agree the xkeyboard-config files have all the ro layouts
there and setxkbmap can be used to choose any of them. (they may not
have all the diacritics for minorities as required by the law, I am not

The freedesktop one is the correct place for compiz bugs. The
opencompositing one is for compiz-fusion bugs. They have a core option
in their bug tracker for people that incorrectly file core bugs on their

There's really a queue full of bug reports all about the inappropriate
naming model of ubuntu's xen kernels, waiting for months or closed
without beeing fixed.
What's the problem with just giving the kernels proper names as proposed
by several bug reporters?

OK, I found out that part of my problem was due to some udev rules that
had been generated back when the orinoco_pci driver was default. When
the hostap_pci driver loaded, udev forced the card to be named eth*,
rather than wlan*, which confuses the hostap_* and prism2_* programs.
