if I had started using diacritics and someone chatting with me had told me
they're broken I would have not known there's a patch for XP.
Please stop ignoring the fact that most people have no idea what patches are,
do not know about WGA etc. They just see the computer is doing yet

chipset, with the Intel ICH9 southbridge. lspci reports unknown devices
for the various controllers, as below. This is with the latest gutsy
(kernel 2.6.22-9-generic).
I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro A100 and have also lost the use of special keys
in .22
showkey (as root) shows no output for internet/media, play/pause, stop and
back/forward,
fn+F? shows the same output whether fn is pressed or not.

Ok, so there's two POT files. One is older and is needs review -state.
It was probably created out of gnome-app-install 0.4.3. The newer one is
approved (but not yet imported), and includes all the necessary
strings. So all is okay, unless the older one in needs review -state is
blocking the newer
Cristi, the situation regarding UTF-8 support is quite good in Linux.
Most modern graphical apps have no problems. However, there are still
console apps in use which do not support UTF-8 and maybe some ancient
GTK+ 1.x packages. I'm not sure about the Linux console though.

machine using the alternate CD. Launching XFCE Terminal causes X to

I have just upgraded from Edgy to Feisty.
- I didn't use the command clear on Edgy, i used to perform the

2) trackerd needs to check databases during initialisation (usually less than a
second to do this)
3) trackerd them registers dbus connection

We have a naming conflict with a package that seems specific to Ubuntu.
I'm not sure what to do about this, though renaming Ubuntu's sm to r
-cran-sm and adding an epoch to the Debian sm might work.
