Cam is a Ricoh, not supported by install, but works fine using r5u870
module. Also used in several HP laptops as well. Took me alot of
searching and testing to find the correct module and load it myself,

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.22-14-sparc64
After experiencing random hangs with Gutsy on several Sun Blade 150's
(which require ide dma to be turned off for stability), it appears that
the Gutsy kernel, on sparc64 at least, is not recognizing the
"ide=nodma" parameter
I believe I am having the same problem. Boot to GDM is great, maybe even
faster than Feisty. But from login to usable desktop is at least twice
as slow as Feisty, even without the splash screen (which I guess was
removed to help desktop load times?). It's not a minute or more like
some people are r

All my lists of recepients dones with Thunderbird 1.5 are unusable under
2.0.x.
The server return a "Bad adresse syntax" error with the name of the list

Added Gentoo to the list as we have had the bug confirmed there. Does
anyone know where the gentoo bug tracker is, and if so, is there already
a bug there about this issue?

I uploaded the file in my second post. For whatever reason it has been

In short:
After booting from cd, select rescue a broken system then execute a shell from
the root partition and execute the following
apt-get update
ap
lets let them do thier job and we cna use an alternate for now. Try
closing the program and reopening or start using the gnome movie player
which works without freezing. It would be a nice bug fix but i dont see
this as high priority.

I think that I had the same problem; however I was asked to report the file
/var/log/dist-upgrade/
In this directory there are however several files, too long to report here. I
think I should compress the directory, but this is rather difficult for me.

Again several reboots needed to get the system up and running. And even then
several errors, as the attachment shows.
When is someone going to take a look at this, and decide whether or not to do
anything about it?
