HI, I believe this problem is not in Ubuntu, but in a common part of
most of all recent dist (kernel?). I had feisty 32 bits installed in my
HP Pavilion dv6215us, AMD Turion 64, and it worked fine. Now I decide to
try other dists (just for fun) and had similar problems in Fedora 8,
Mandriva 2008

FYI, Medibuntu's acroread_8.1.1-0medibuntu3 package does solve this
problem for me under gutsy.
Most likely, this is a problem of all acroread-7.0.x packages published
for ubuntu.
Since there seems to be no volunteer stepping up, which tries to find

On resume (from suspend) I got X back, but the screen

On a Feisty Fawn installation:
With apache2 version 2.2.3-3.2ubuntu0.1, using the cadaver web dav client on
the command line, 'lock index.html' fails

Debian. This causes my new apt-transport-debtorrent method to FTBFS on
Ubuntu, and would require me to maintain separate packages for Ubuntu
and Debian, when they should be identical.

Looks like that ext3 changes the order in which the kernel considers the
modules. If it uses orinoco_cs, it boots without problem but cannot
connect to wpa. When I use Reiserfs it takes hostap_cs first ( which
causes the kernel panic ) and doesn't boot.
