When I've open this bug, I've tested the two situation and the speed difference

I still have problems in 7.10, but only when I have network manager
running and at the same time running for example Kismet which does a lot
of channel switching.
I think the channel switching is where the problems arise. I have no evidence,

With regards to the rebuilds, let's wait until mpeg4ip and faac are
available, as most of the packages that need an x264 rebuild also needs
libmp4v2 or libfaac rebuilds.

I've downloaded the 7th December build for Hardy. The bug persists!
dhclient v3.0.6 refuses to get an ip in a wired network.
I've tested the gutsy version of dhclient 3.0.5 and everything works fine.
If there's a fix released, where can we get the new package?

I have a network printer on a Gutsy box. I go to System Administration
Printing, and select New Printer, choose Internet Printing Protocol
and enter the IP address of my Gutsy box, leaving the printer queue
I think the security issue is one big reason to sync it and the changes
