Where is the consensus being questioned? AGP is often so broken on
savage cards (especially if you use hibernation and sleep) so forcing
all savage cards to PCI would be a good thing IMHO. Even better, it

I have same problem. The problem is host(Ubuntu hardy) cannot play
sound, when virtualbox's guest uses sound driver. I guess it may be
relative with new hardy audio system; perseaudio. But I don't know why.

I am not sure GDM vs KDM has anything to do with it. Maybe the second
reboot cleaned up the card. It would be interesting to have the log from
the failure as well.

I am using Hardy 64-bit, with KDE4.0.3. When I click on Network in
Kickoff, and then click on Samba Shares I get the error Could not
connect to host for smb://smb-network instead of seeing my samba
shares.
Steps to reproduce:
1.) Install KDE4 or metapackage
