don't get an additional audio device created. So I can't really use my
headset. It worked fine for me under dapper and feisty.

Yeah, generally it is better to report any bug than to leave stuff
unnoticed.
However this backtrace is useless, maybe you can get a better one when
installing kdebase-kde4-dbg before the next crash :)
I am marking the bug as incomplete, in case the crash re-appears within
the next 2 months.

I got this error when trying to work with Ubuntu Hardy RC and virt-
manager + xen:
Unable to open a connection to the libvirt management daemon.
Verify that:
- The 'libvirt-bin' package is installed
- The 'libvirtd' daemon has been started
And details:
Unable to open connection to hypervisor
sorry, too late, hardy (universe) is already frozen. - Package will get
autosynced for intrepid, hence marking the bug as invalid.

Hi Andrew and Timo,
same crash is happening here when minimize/maximize windows in task bar with
compiz enabled (default behaviour in Gutsy).
I tried to disable compiz 'cause I think it's a bug in the X Composite
Extension.
I don't think it's driver specific 'cause I'm experiencing this with an
Nvidia driver version 100.14.19, installed through Gutsy-updates'
official repositories (package nvidia-glx-new).

I've looked at all the various thinkpad-brightness-related bugs on
launchpad, but this seems to be one that hasn't been reported yet. On my
Thinkpad T41 (model 2668-F5G), when I press the 'brightness up'
(Fn+Home) key, the screen brightness goes up
