Recently upgraded a box to Hardy + KDE4 from Gutsy Gibbon to make a
review prior to other system upgrades and have noticed that Alt+F2 no
longer works. so I can't bring up Krunner.
Something that needs fixing prior to the final release?

Still a problem on Hardy for me. I've just uninstalled tracker as the IO
it was generating was causing FF to become unresponsive regularly and
slowing everything else down too.

I restored the file /var/lib/dpkg/status and update manager now opens without
errors, but I can't install anything. For any package it displays a message:
files list file for package `firefox-gnome-support' is missing final newline.
'apt-get updates' works without problems.

Could the fix be applied to Hardy though? This seems like a usability bug,

This is fixed upstream in virt-manager 0.5.4. From the readme:
Using the new GTK-VNC accelerated scaling support, the guest console
window can now be smoothly resized to fill the screen.

I'll admit I'm not totally sure, but when I tried starting Firefox from
the command-line, and tried playing the Flash animation I mentioned
above, it worked. However, running Firefox from the icon on the panel
does not allow the animation's sound to work.

Yes, I know the team is pretty small, I told you about that on purpose, because

I too Am Facing the same problem in Fiesty fawn when i login as root(i have
enabled root login).
I have installed compiz fusion and starterd noticing this problem after using
the following commands:

then, after pressing(Alt+f2), typing 'emerald --replace
The IBM Java6 SDK doesn't trigger this bug, so if you can live with that
in the time being, it seems a good substitute until this gets fixed.
