hey iam having the same problem, every time my laptop goes on sleep mode

OK, here they come. By the way, I noticed two more things yesterday:
1) Hibernate works, even though suspend doesn't

I'm just wondering if this really is a solution. I wish the updater
process would check for the available space before installing anything,
as well as was able to delete the old kernels if necessary. ATM I have
four different kernel versions left by Hardy's update process.

I'm experiencing behaviour similar to that in bug #223647: the system
boots and runs unusably slow. Unfortunatly, upgrading the BIOS did not
help and neither did downgrading to gutsy server.
Hardware:
Intel DG965OT mainboard
(BIOS update 1729)
Intel Core2 Duo E4500
4 GB

Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue

This version of Ubuntu (Edgy Eft) has reached end of life and is not
supported anymore. So we are closing this report. If this is still an

The bug title is improper, as the problem does not happen only with
security=share.
Someone should change that.

I haven't been able to reproduce this error. The machine has been
reinstalled and works fine now. Some issues with the docking station,
but that's for another report. Please close this one.

I can confirm this bug. I updated my system, but the problem still

Thanks Stefan, found it now. Well Synaptic doesn't know about the
virtual packages...that's why I didn't find it in the first place.

The same happened here. Only that I found out about it another way:
Totem played very slowly (1 frame/sec) the videos and had no sound (also
music seemed to play especially slowly). Mplayer was either
Sponsored and uploaded to the queue. Waiting for motu-sru's ack now
(subscribed them).
