that look similar to your issue:

I have found this same bug in the firefox 3 rc. Uninstalling the prism
extension did eliminate the crashing on downloads. However, I am
conerned that moving this bug report to invalid is wrong. Prism is a
major new feature of this new release of firefox where you are to be
able to make webapps

The system setup seems pretty normal:
Dual core Intel CPU, Intel ICH5 southbridge, AC97 audio, Ati Radeon graphics,
Realtek 8139 ethernet.
The only suspicious item is the TI ACX111 wifi, which needs the acx100 driver.

I'm on a Gnome desktop.
It's possible to type in Arabic if I do the following:
1) remove Arabic package from language support
2) unclick enable complex characters from language support
3) remove Arabic from keyboardlayout
4) add Arabic to keyboardlayout
The thing is that
I can confirm this. I tried to apt-get install gnome on ubuntu 8.04
server edition and I get the same exact error.

In the nautilus file browser, when I File - Connect to server, and connect to
an SSH server, adding the bookmark.
It connected as expected
However when clicking on the newly created bookmark, it tries to log in using
SFTP, not SSH
