A lot of /etc files were apparently removed. This also prevents apache2
from restarting. You might need to purge/reinstall apache2,
apache2-common... to restore the needed conf files like
/etc/apache2/envvars.

no, i don't think i did. i remember being surprised that when marking samba
for complete removal, that samba-common stayed. if i tried to mark
samba-common for removal, it wanted to remove ubuntu-desktop as well...

freezes just after a burn has finished. The mouse and console are dead
and I can't ssh in from another box (no route to host), but I _can_

firefox3 do not interprate function() syntax error
I connects but I'm no longer able to use it as the mic and speaker no
longer function. I'm guessing a conflict with pulse audio but I could
be wrong.

Here is a preliminary patch.
Do we need to also provide symlinks into /usr/share/fonts/type1/gsfonts,
or will ghostscript manage to find these fonts on its own?

I also nominate this 2.10.1 release as an SRU for Hardy:
1) What it fixes:
* it fixes DDC support for Geode platforms with a CS5535 bridge.
* it introduces complete and final support for the OLPC XO-1.
* it fixes various non-critical bugs.
Secondarily, the updated Debian packaging ought to be

I am having a similar problem with my screen dimming to lowest setting.
It seems to be random but other times it is caused by starting an
application such as a basic gnome-game or Second Life.
I did notice that it dimmed upon bootup at the stage loading VESA
state Perhaps it's a vesa bug?
