I've got problems too. My editing with Netbeans has become really bad
because when scrolling or doing some other operations there's too much
lag. Looking at 'top' on shell I see that Xorg raises up to 90% of
cpu... that's not acceptable.

That patch looks pretty simple and likely correct. The sensible next
step is to push this up to the INPUT maintainer and see if they are

I use qemu file images for my virtual disks, no raw devices. And I tried
different OS types (general, vista, dos, linux,...) It all fails. Next week

I am also affected by this bug. I have installed Ubuntu 8.10 through the
alternate CD, and afterwards installed Xubuntu-desktop. The keyboard repeat
delay was too short, and I could not change it with the Xfce GUI, the Gnome GUI
or with the xset command. Interestingly, typing xset q does

recipients using old software, that do not understand OpenPGP/MIME but

to full-bleed mode. To set it to full-bleed, you must set the Quality
option to one of the full-bleed modes (this option is not

This appears to have been fixed by a new kernel release into intrepid.
It is unknown which of these it was. The problem no longer exists so
moving this 'Invalid' as it is no longer present.
