[Bug 278471] Re: Screen flickers or blanks every 10 s with KDE4
Hi Everybody: I think there is a solution without killing krunner. When I killed krunner it did stop flickering, but on my machine there is also another way: just uncheck the "start automatically" box for the screen saver in the Desktop Settings (available via System Settings). The flickering is gone and I can use krunner, yay! To reproduce the bug you need to do the following: 1.Select a few tracks from your music library and right click on them --> Add to Playlist 2.Click on the LastFM icon in the sidebar and load up a station (for example "Artists similar to commix") by double clicking on it. [Bug 302596] Re: Evince doesn't print all content of pdf-file to PS-printer but to PCL-printer
I'm having similar problems. Evince prints frame borders, but none of the text inside of them. Meanwhile, on the same comp, same system, same printer, acroread prints just fine. The truly odd thing is that "Print Preview" - which produces some variation on "evince_print.ps.BLAHBLAH" - shows perfectly on screen, but still fails to print properly. I'm on Ubuntu 8.10; acroread 8.1.3; evince 2.24.1. HP Officejet 5610 All-in-One, with CUPS, I'm assuming. [Bug 335331] [NEW] The current build doesn't support GUIDs
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: tremulous Version 1.1.0-4.1build1 doesn't have support for GUIDs. These are unique player IDs that helps managing servers. The support can be added by installing the TJW backport build: http://tremulous.tjw.org/backport/ Many of the servers currently needs the GUID support and since the Ubuntu package doesn't have that the players must compile the game by their selves or download the prebuilded package that isn't in deb- format. [Bug 254370] Re: Inkscape's color choose sliders are shown in gray and it is difficult to choose a color.
I've added a work-around for this in the latest Inkscape SVN, however it is a bug in the gtk-qt-engine theme engine. It appears that gtk_paint_shadow() was not implemented correctly, and instead of just outlining a box it fills the box completely, wiping out any contents. It also does not appear to limit itself to any supplied clipping rectangles (this might be causing other problems elsewhere) -- Inkscape's color choose sliders are shown in gray and it is difficult to choose a color. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/254370 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to gtk-qt-engine in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 281809] Re: no pics for color sliders in Inkscape
It turns out that the gtk-qt-engine theme has problems with gtk_paint_shadow. The documentation is that it draws around a box, but that engine fills the area completely, painting over anything already there. I added a work-around to draw the colors on top of the shadow. This will be ugly with some Qt themes, but at least it will get the colors visible. ** Changed in: inkscape Status: Confirmed => In Progress ** Changed in: inkscape Status: In Progress => Fix Released -- no pics for color sliders in Inkscape https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/281809 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 335335] [NEW] Enable Num Lock return/enter key
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-orca The Return/Enter key on the Num Lock keypad is the most commonly used by a blind person than the Enter/Return on the main keyboard.
