I am now using Intrepid 2.6.27-11-generic and the ipw2100 driver IS
working.
In a recent, previous 2.6.27 version of the kernel, it was NOT working.
But prior to that, it WAS working. So... something about this drive is
inconsistent.
Hopefully, this is some sort of clue to the problem.

The computer was on battery, I was moving from one place to another so I
suspended my session, when I got to the next place I opened up my laptop
and gave it about 2 minutes to resume, being that i'm using EXT4 I
figured that was more than enough time considering my laptop boots in

developers used this patch [2] in version 2.5.5 to bump the client
version reported to the ICQ server to a more current version number. I
haven't tested it, but it should be no great deal to apply this fix to

I think you might be right. I installed the distro update via package
manager last night and everything seemed to go smoothly until the reboot
to load jaunty for the first time. The system hangs immediately after
grub loads the OS. tried booting into recovery mode/CLI with the same

Using Kubuntu jaunty:
kde-l10n-es conflicts with some files of kde-i18n-es as like as
`/usr/share/doc/kde/HTML/es/kommander/commands.docbook', the same happens for
other languages such as -it, -fr...
This causes an error installing package kde-l10n-es/-it/-fr in jaunty when
kde-i18n-es/-it/-fr
fixed in jaunty's ubuntu10
